FOUNDERS

Gina Lopez and Mariely Colon met in the state of Florida in 2009. Both worked together in the mental health field offering counseling and psychosocial rehabilitation services. Mariely Colon is a licensed mental health counselor with vast experience in the clinical setting and Gina Lopez also has experience in the mental health field, mainly in the administrative area. Both realized that together they had potential to start a new project. They began meeting to define their future project goals. After several attempts and going through several disappointments, in the year 2021 during the pandemic, BMC, Corp. was born.

Behavioral Multidisciplinary Center, Corp. is an agency that offers integrated behavioral services. The agency focuses on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy); however, it also offers mental health services led by Dr. Mariely Colon, who together with Gina Lopez, are the owners of the mental health department.

The focus of the founders is to provide all the necessary services to children including the mental, behavioral, and educational area and to strengthen the integration of families in Florida. The agency is currently providing services in several counties including Osceola, Orange, Seminole and Brevard.
